The means of the Foundation are: investigation, formation, sensibilization, asssitance and technical cooperation in the educational and social fields for human development, quality of life, better prevention , assistance, integration and rehabilitation of children, adolescents, and children who suffer isolation, marginalization, alcoholism, drug addiction, legal penalties, mistreatment, isolation, and poverty in Spain and in the exterior.

It is responsible of taking in command bills and presenting income to the Ministry of Labor and Social Issues on an anual basis.

The Patronate takes charge as nonprofit.

The Fundación Amigó is classified as a beneficial institution by the Ministry of Order since the 26th of June of 1996.

The Fundación Amigó was inscribed in the Registry of Non Govermental Organizations of Development (ONGD) on the 9th of June of 2000 and adscribed by the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation ( AECI) General Registry 26- 06- 2000. It is also a member of the Spanish Association of Foundations.
