The work of Fundación Amigó centralizes on helping youngsters and adolescents who suffer from behavior problems, loss of family and social unit, material deficiencies, loss of moral identity, alterations in conduct, and personality perturbations. We also help their family, social, work backgrounds.

With our desire all of them, the Fundación Amigó has created an infrastructure of direct help, which consists of the following programs:

3. School for Parents

4. Street Action

5. Juvenile Home

 

6. DAY CENTER

 

The Day Center is one of our services which are included in our specialization of giving attention to the adolescent. The program is noted for helping the minor to remain in the family within favorable conditions with the adecuate security and attention necessary. This program also helps the parents to respond to their own necessities and which in turn helps them be present in the education of their own children.

These are the following objectives:

  • To accompany, orient, educate , the adolescent in their growth process and Habitual development as well as improving their own social skills in oder to integrate them into society.
  • Mediate and to help resolve conflicting situations that accompany the adolescents in society.
  • To reinforce the formal process directed to those adolescents who live in a risk present situation in search of their integration.
  • To reach the level of potential in their work training that will make them capable of being part of society.
  • To offer alternatives of occupation during their own free time.
  • To make possible social insertion and to resolve conflicts for the youngsters families.
