The work of Fundación Amigó centralizes on helping youngsters and adolescents who suffer from behavior problems, loss of family and social unit, material deficiencies, loss of moral identity, alterations in conduct, and personality perturbations. We also help their family, social, work backgrounds.

With our desire all of them, the Fundación Amigó has created an infrastructure of direct help, which consists of the following programs:

1. Treatment and Rehabilitation of Toxics

2. DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION

The Fundación Amigó has put forth in the Marfil Coast a proyect directed to youngsters and adolescents with problems which isolate themselves from basic teaching , professional formation, and other methods are used in order for them to recover from a state of isolation and solitude which they heavily experience.

Principle Objective of Our Project.
Our main principle is to educate, reinsert, and to integrate a formation of growth in kids and in youngsters who experience problems or difficulties.
This objective is put forth on two standards:

  • Orientation and awareness of the natural environment in which they live.
  • Offers them the participation in our various programs and services accomodated to their needs and possibilities.

Homeless Children:

  • Kids who experience a loss of a family unit. For these youngsters the street is their main habitat and means for survival.
  • Youngsters who have gain a premature independence from their families.
  • They sustain themselves with small jobs and mistreatment.
  • Youngsters who experience isolation. The Causes for isolation are generally, a loss of family support, legal penalty, problems derived fro themselves.

Youngsters who experience difficulty:

  • Youngsters who have failed in school.
  • Youngsters who yearn to receive practical or formal training that is valid to their state of preparation based on the advantages of their regions.
  • Youngsters that live in jail: we count on the possibilty of integrating 50 percent of our capacity in the different programs.
