The work of Fundación Amigó centralizes on helping youngsters and adolescents who suffer from behavior problems, loss of family and social unit, material deficiencies, loss of moral identity, alterations in conduct, and personality perturbations. We also help their family, social, work backgrounds.

With our desire all of them, the Fundación Amigó has created an infrastructure of direct help, which consists of the following programs:

1. Treatment and Rehabilitation of Toxics

2. Development cooperation

3. School for parents

The Fundación Amigó offers professional and formative assesment especially to parents with children adolescents and youngsters with 14 to 20 years of age with serious behavior problems.

Social background

In our recent society there exists a series of factors which provoke that adolescents
to develop conduct problems and social inadaptation. Among these factors are:

• Juvenile freeze.
• The need for other alternatives for youngsters.
• School failure.
• Conflicting relations between parents—children.
• Lack of Communication , Solitude, depression.

In our Parental School we hope to succeed in the following objectives:

• To Experience a process of personal change between each other in a fashion where the problems can be seen, felt, and that can actually be a search of action in order to bring solutions to the problems.
• To give and receive support on self esteem .
• To receive growth- orientation in order to favor a change on behalf of the child in the areas of behavior, social environment, and affection.
