What is the Fundación Amigó?

Fundación Amigó is a foundation for social assistance, a non-profitable association, legally established. Its action fields are both national and international. It was established by a Ministry Order in the 26th of June of 1996. (B:O.E. 30/7/1996). It is registered in the National Registry of Assistance foundations with number 28/1022; and registered by the Registry of Nongovermental Organizations of Development established on the 26th of June 2000.


Who are its beneficiaries?

Fundación Amigó focuses its efforts in the assistance of children, teenagers, and youngsters who hare dropped out or suffer from alcoholism, drug addiction, legal troubles, mistreatment, isolation, and poverty. We also take into consideration their families and social context as a suitable field for our intervention.

Fundación Amigó objectives

Our Foundation works to:

  • Prevent young delincuency, drug addiction, poverty and social adaptation.
  • Assist and reeducate before the apparition of problematic situations connected with young delincuency, drug dependencies, and marginalism.
  • Integrate, reinstate and rehabilitate the people that we assist.
  • Investigate, train and inform about the problems and facts of today’s youth.
  • Collaborate with other entities and organizations (both national and foreign) in the educational and social fields.
  • Assist help in human development and welfare of our beneficiaries.
  • Act in eventualities, disasters and extreme needs suffered by children and teenagers.
  • Support the voluntary work of individuals and families.
  • Make our beneficiaries participate in their own development.
    • Aid in the investigation and formation, which specializes in psychoeducational intervention of youngsters who experience isolation and social conflict.
